Learning For Transformation: Entanglements and passageways for transformation

This symposium will bring together the co-editors of the handbook on learning for transformation to explore new passageways to transformation building from the work of Jack Mezirow who in the 1970’s began his quest to develop a comprehensive theory of adult learning. Entering the discourse on transformative learning from diverse perspectives, each panelist will offer a unique approach to the concept of transformation as an enactment of adult learning. Each panelist will engage the inquiry: What are transformative dimensions of adult learning?
