Using Quantitative Approaches for the Study and Practice of Transformative Learning

In this symposium, presenters challenge the community of transformative learning scholars to consider what quantitative approaches to the study and practice of transformative learning might look like. Symposium presenters will address the need for quantitative approaches, existing approaches and their strengths and limitations, an example of how we might operationalize transformative learning using Hogan's constructs, and a call for reflecting on resistance to quantitative approaches in the field. The symposium will conclude with a discussion of the ideas shared and a question and answer session.
