Following up an experience of a transformational learning community for teachers as adult learners during the pandemic

This paper presents the design and implementation of an online distance learning professional development course that took place during the Covid 19 pandemic and aimed to transform teachers' attitudes towards the use of digital education content and Open Educational Recourses in elementary school. The course utilized elements from different professional development models and followed the methodology of the 10-step transformation as it has been described by Mezirow. The comments of the participants in the course indicated that there has been a transformation in terms of perceptions and attitudes, and they have adopted new roles in their daily teaching practice.
